Arius to attend the 18th Deloitte Private Art & Finance Conference in Venice

October 26, 2026

Venice, October 26, 2026 – Arius will take part in the 18th Deloitte Private Art & Finance Conference on 27 October 2026 at the Procuratie Vecchie in Piazza San Marco, Venice.

This year's edition, organised by Deloitte Luxembourg with Deloitte Italy, is titled "Tomorrow's cultural cities: From patronage to portfolio". It looks at how new forms of patronage, investment and private capital are changing the way cities support and value their culture. Arius will be represented by its EU CEO, Marco Antonio Soriano.

The theme fits closely with Arius' work over the past year, and at the conference, we'll will focus on three points.

1. A portfolio needs proof. Moving art from patronage to portfolio only works if owners, banks and insurers can trust what they hold. Arius scans each work at 10-micron resolution and creates a permanent record of its surface, identity, and condition. That record can sit behind a valuation, an insurance policy or a loan, and can be checked again at any time.

2. Cultural cities start by protecting what they have. In October 2026, Arius signed a Cooperation Agreement with UNESCO to create digital twins of works and archives at its Paris headquarters, including the original register of the 1954 Hague Convention. A city like Venice can use the same approach to document its collections, plan conservation and share works with the public without moving the originals.

3. Private capital as the new patron. Families, foundations and private banks increasingly want their support for culture to leave something measurable behind. Funding the digital preservation of a collection does exactly that: the data is stored long term, including in the Arctic World Archive, and it remains valuable for research, education, and future restoration.

"Arius Technology is not just capturing images; we are capturing the DNA of human history," said Marco Antonio Soriano, CEO of Arius Technology Europa Italia Srl. "A country without art is a nation without culture. At Arius, our primary mission is to preserve fine art for all to enjoy. We firmly believe that the future is built by protecting our past."

Arius' attendance in Venice comes ahead of 0100 International in Milan and SuperReturn Europe in Amsterdam, where we will meet investors and family offices.
