Arius Technology is a fast-moving startup, developing proprietary laser-based optical scanning systems for three-dimensional digitization of art.
Under our Verus Art® brand, Arius works directly with museums on conservation projects, and to produce stunningly beautiful, elevated print re-creations of paintings, featuring precise replication of the color, texture and relief of an artist's original brushstrokes.
Under a new brand, Arius will also be working with contemporary artists to explore creative opportunities with this new digitization and elevated print medium.

This system includes a large format 2 m × 1.5 m vertical configuration translation system that drives a precision optomechanical scanning head, which measures brushstrokes to better than 100 um lateral dimension and 10 um depth resolution. We make use of advanced design and rapid prototyping tools including an in-house 4-axis CNC mill and a 3D SLA printer.
